A six-position vertical-orientation transport case for TLS-rehoused Leica R primes in PL-mount cine housings. The TLS rehousings convert the legendary Leica R Summicron and Elmarit primes — a still-photography set prized by cinematographers for years for its skin tones and rendering — to standardized cinema barrels with consistent front diameter, focus throw, and iris ring drive gear. CNC-cut foam wells are contoured to the rehoused barrels in vertical orientation (lenses nose-up).
Typical six-position layout covers the 19mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 80mm Leica R rehousings — tell us your exact focal lengths and we'll cut accordingly. Pelican-class shell with retractable handle, two-wheel cart roll, automatic pressure-equalization valve, recessed dish latches, and stainless hardware. Closed-cell foam doesn't shed into the focus or iris mechanism.
