The Zeiss CZ.2 70-200mm T2.9 is the long-range compact zoom of the Zeiss CZ.2 system — built to interchange between PL, EF, F, and MFT mounts via Zeiss's IMS interchangeable mount, and sized so it can ride in a Pelican Air rather than a full-size flight case. This case is built on a Pelican Air 1507 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the CZ.2 70-200 body.The Pelican Air 1507 is the lightweight version of the Pelican lineup — same waterproof and crush-resistant standards as the standard 1500-series, but roughly 40% lighter, which matters when the case rides as airline carry-on. The CNC-cut foam interior holds the CZ.2 70-200mm with the mount end facing up and supports the lens body along its full length, with cutouts for the IMS mount interface and the focus and zoom rings.The Pelican Air shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof with recessed latches, automatic pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip handle. Foam is closed-cell polyethylene CNC-cut to lens profile.Made in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
