The SmallHD Ultra 7 is a 7-inch daylight-viewable on-camera field monitor, and this ATA case protects the panel — and the Bolt 6 receiver riding with it — for a fraction of the rig's value. This case is built for the rest of its life — the trips between rental house and stage, airport and basecamp, where a generic pouch or the retail box won't save the panel. CNC-cut foam holds the Ultra 7 face-protected in a contoured pocket, suspended away from the case walls so impact loads never reach the 1,600-nit LCD panel or the bezel.
One case carries the working monitor kit: the monitor, the Bolt 6 receiver and its antennas, sun hood, battery plate, AC supply, SDI and HDMI cabling, and mounting hardware — each in its own fitted well. That count-at-a-glance layout means a DIT, video-village tech, or rental desk sees at a glance whether the monitor and every accessory made it back before the case is signed in — nothing walks off set unnoticed. A monitor-plus-receiver rig is two expensive items that must travel together and arrive paired; the layout keeps them in one case so the kit never gets split across a truck.
An ATA-grade case is also what makes a freight claim winnable — carriers deny damage claims on self-packed electronics, while an ATA case makes the shipment insurable and the claim defensible. Fit & shipping FAQ
What fits inside?
As built, the Ultra 7 face-protected in a contoured pocket plus fitted wells for the Bolt 6 receiver and antennas, sun hood, battery plate, AC supply, cabling, and mounting hardware.
Can the foam be cut for my exact Ultra 7 rig?
Yes — every case is built to order, so the wells follow your setup. Add space for a wireless receiver, a specific battery plate, a director's bracket, a cage, or extra cables, and we CNC-cut the foam to match. Tell us your loadout on the quote.
Is the LCD panel safe against the foam?
The display seats face-protected against soft, low-abrasion polyethylene, suspended away from the case walls so impact loads never reach the glass. For repeated shipping we can spec a brushed screen-interface liner by quote for extra surface protection.
Can it be built for the monitor without the Bolt receiver?
Yes. We build this layout both ways — with a dedicated receiver-and-antenna well, or as a tighter monitor-only case. Tell us which on the quote and we cut the foam accordingly.
What's the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we'll price it.

Build & shipping
Will this fit my setup?
Tell us the monitor and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different monitor, extra accessories, a hood that has to stay on, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
